Keefe Disability Law is Hiring an Associate Attorney Near Plymouth, MA

Attorney – Social Security Disability--Plymouth

Are you drawn to helping those in need? Would you like to help us serve those whose lives are upended by a serious medical problem and loss of a paying job?

Since 1994 Keefe Disability Law has been helping the disabled win benefits from Social Security. We seek a full-time attorney associate to represent applicants for disability benefits before the Social Security Administration, including appearances before Administrative Law Judges. You will be expected to adapt quickly to our office culture of patient, kind, and caring service. See our web page at www.Keefelaw.com

The ideal candidate for this position has compassion for the difficult situations our clients endure and can acquire these skills:

  • In depth knowledge of Social Security's standard for disability
  • Ability to connect with the client and conduct a careful interview to obtain a full understanding of the claim
  • Ability to review medical records and apply the information to Social Security's disability standard.
  • To advocate on the client’s behalf to Social Security Administrative Law Judges

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of law school with strong academic record
  • Admitted to the Bar (Massachusetts preferred, but not required)
  • Professional, ethical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
