Job Title: YMCA Summer Camp Counselors

Salary: $13.23

Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00a-5:00pm

Status: Part Time/Full-Time

Department: Child Care/School Age

Reports to: Child Care Director

The YMCA is seeking excited camp counselors to join our Summer Day Camp. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children learn and grow through play as well as build a rewarding career working with children! We are looking for outstanding role models to have a positive impact on kids in our community and help us create a great environment for K – 5th graders to grow and learn.

The YMCA Summer Camp offer a positive environment where kids can have fun while they learn and grow through play. You’ll get to lead groups of kids through exciting curriculum and activities such as art and crafts, playing (PE), field trips and free time.

ALL WE NEED FROM YOU:

A positive attitude
Willingness to get paid to play with children and be a positive role model
Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities
That you are at least 16 years old
Able to pass all background checks
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date.
