A Day in the Life of our Technical Project Manager 

Our Technical Project Managers are responsible for managing the entire project life cycle, from project initiation to closing processes and everything in between. Additionally, they are organizing all aspects of IT projects internally for KDInfotech and for our clients. They are continuously communicating with appropriate stakeholders and 3rd party vendors throughout the process. They will act as a subject matter expert in regards to the various business platforms they are utilizing as tools and some that they are managing. They strategically prioritize, balance workloads, and work directly with Stakeholders, Systems Engineers, and Senior management to ensure projects are set in the right direction for success.

Who Should Apply 

We welcome all applicants with a background in managing diverse projects in small to large capacity. We encourage all applicants who apply to have worked with project management tools such as ASANA, JIRA, and/or MS projects. Our applicants should be highly organized and excel at working with both technical teams, different business units, and Senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Attend initial intake meetings for new client onboarding 
  • Attend meetings with senior management for new/existing clients on onboarding/offloading projects 
  • Work with Stakeholders to gather requirements, deliverables, and plan schedule management 
  • Develop project charters and the sequence of activities 
  • Maintain the relationship between the predecessor and successor for the projects 
  • Manage internal and external resources to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Communicate project status and constraints on a weekly basis
  • Maintain all cost variances within the project budget 
  • Work on quality control using tools such as (Flowcharts, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Control Charts, and etc.) 
  • Develop project documentation for project control and delivery 
  • Ensure timelines and milestones are actively achieved
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5 years in Technical Project Management 
  • Working experience with project management toolsets (Asana, Jira, Confluence, and MS Projects) 
  • Expert knowledge in the development of project work flows, and project charting documents 
  • Ability to ramp up quickly on technical knowledge necessary for project
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience managing complex projects across multiple teams

$140,000 - $170,000 a year
