Job Title: Compounding Helper Reports To: Production SupervisorJob category: Individual contributor ☒ Management ☐ Division: Home Care Department: Production Location: Manitowoc, WIDescription / Scope / MissionAssist the Compounders in manufacturing by filling totes with high quality intermediate and bulk product using process equipment available in a safe and cost-effective manner. Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities1. Understand the operation, methods, and techniques used in the filling chemical products into totes.2. Sanitize and assist in preparations for product making.3. Wear provided safety equipment, i.e., dust mask, respirators, gloves, etc., when handling raw materials in areas subject to odors, fumes and high temperatures.4. Follow established safety procedures and exercise good safety practices to prevent accidents to self, others and facilities.5. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly fashion.6. Communicate promptly and openly to the Compounding and Production departments all operational and personnel problems.7. Execute special assignments as directed by the Blenders.8. Handle all chemicals in accordance with State and local regulations.9. Handle hazardous chemical small quantity spills and clean-up using proper safety equipment and materials per SDS or Emergency Coordinator’s instructions.MARGINAL JOB DUITES:NONEEducation / Certification / Qualifications / Experience • High school diploma. HSED or equivalent experience.• Basic math skills.• Able to read, write and speak English language at the high school (12th Grade) level.Experience: • Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
