Responsibilities and Key Activities: • Lead the development and execution of sales and manage offering within the Area’s New Building Solutions business. • Understand the current and future opportunities for the New Building Solutions business in the Area. • Execute business development initiatives and improve customer-centricity, competitive position, market share and full-chain profitability in each frontline within the Area. • Set Area level 3–5-year strategy and targets together with Area and Global teams, help in developing robust Unit budget plans, continuously monitor financial and operational performance, report results and give actionable feedback to Units based on relevant metrics. • Drive Delivery Operations performance in the Area, ensuring safe, consistent, reliable, high quality and profitable delivery of customer contracts for both New Building Solutions and Modernization. • Drive competitive advantage through excellence in customer project management and field operations and develop capabilities to drive continuous productivity improvement. • Proactively drive outstanding performance in Safety and Quality in the New Building Solutions business and throughout the organization. • Collaborate with the Unit Managing and NBS directors as well as other functions such as Supply Chain to develop and achieve targets and close across the Area geographies. • Lead, evaluate, and develop the New Building Solutions team and its professionals at Area and country level. • Identify competence gaps and training needs in order to fulfil the business plan. • Work closely with Global C&O, KTI and SC teams to ensure profitable growth. Key competencies and experience: • Fluent in both Chinese and English; Relevant degree in commercial or technical field; Behavioral competences aligned with KONE leadership competences. • Experience in people leadership and management, financial and business performance management, experience in elevator, construction or relevant other B2B environment. • Customer relationship management skills and experience, customer project management and portfolio management skills and experience. • Market and customer business understanding. sales management, marketing, channel management experience. Understanding of the end-to-end process for Business Line business and related profit and cost drivers. • Knowledge of installation methods and site management; construction industry contracts and their management; employment law in relevant country/area. • With P&L responsibilities – preferably dealing with cash flow/collections as well as managing EBIT and MFC.
