When you work as a Business Analyst at KCAS Bio, you get to further our mission by working within and managing the key systems and processes that drive operational planning, forecasting, and capacity utilization within the entire organization.

In this role, we will rely on you to:

  • Facilitate the company’s forecast meetings including file preparation and follow up necessary to maintain 
  • Assist in updating and adjusting the system required to produce the production schedule, forecast, and plan capacity 
  • Assist with key system and process rollout as required throughout the organization 
  • Communicate daily with operations as needed regarding system data, system questions, and any pertinent information needed to ensure accuracy of information surrounding production targets, schedule changes, new product introductions, product availability, material issues etc., to ensure proper execution of plans 
  • Assist with maintaining the data used in established processes for evaluating and understanding capacity utilization among assigned business units 
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining monthly analytics on capacity utilization 
  • Works with Project Managers and Operations to interpret system data to determine if change orders are needed 
  • Assist with maintenance of dashboard integrity and reporting within key system, for management and end users 
  • Assists with maintaining and updating all data inputs that feed the forecast on an ongoing basis, ensuring the data is accurate and updated at least weekly 
  • Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of the operations process and metrics related to procurement, planning, and scheduling
To qualify specifically for this role, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Exposure to the business development and/or operations areas within a laboratory
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, and CRMs
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of corporate policies and procedures
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision
  • Must possess good reasoning and problem-solving abilities
