Description

Essential Duties

1. Production Worker-2 must train in Bundling, Cutting, Spreading, Wrapping and Staging Pallets, Loading Gen III Shipments, Shipping and Receiving Bowling orders, Receiving and Unloading Fabric Shipments, unloading other shipments as needed.

2. Follow all Agency and OSHA safety regulations at all times.

3. Maintain a safe work environment.

4. Follow Agency attendance policy.

5. Follow supervisor’s instructions.

6. Must complete training to be fork lift certified.

7. Must learn the schedule and performance of preventative maintenance on all Cutting department equipment (example: changing cutting blades, resetting parameters in the cutter software and cleaning all working parts of equipment).

8. All other duties deemed necessary. 

9. May be required to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and if required lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

10. Additional hours if needed are mandatory.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Possess the ability to maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department, i.e. overtime, alternating lunch and break schedules when needed.
2. Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
3. Ability to listen to what is said and act upon it appropriately.
4. Ability to use tact and empathy in dealing with people of varied backgrounds.
5. Ability to establish effective working relationships.
6. Ability to work independently or in a team environment and plan and organize workload.
7. Accepts responsibility and demonstrates leadership.
8. Is able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Trustworthy- Able to keep business confidences as required.
10. Open minded- Willing to embrace change.
11. Forklift experience preferred. 
12. Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft office products preferred. 

Education and or Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
