KC's Improvement & Construction Co., Inc. is Hiring a Residential and Light Commercial Construction Estimator Near Greensboro, NC

We are seeking a Remodeling Estimator Salesperson to join our team. We are looking for a skilled professional with a proven track record in residential and commercial remodeling estimating.

As a Remodeling Estimator Salesperson, you will be the bridge between our clients and our construction team. You will play a pivotal role in understanding our clients' needs, providing detailed project estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the construction or remodeling industry, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Meet with potential clients to understand their remodeling needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Project Assessment: Conduct on-site evaluations to assess the scope of remodeling projects, collaborating with clients to gather essential information.
  • Sales Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, showcasing our company's capabilities and proposing customized solutions to meet clients' goals.
  • Cost Estimation: Work closely with the estimating team to provide accurate and transparent cost estimates based on project specifications and client requirements.
  • Negotiation: Collaborate with clients to address concerns, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements in a manner that aligns with company policies and client satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a positive customer experience and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications / Experience / Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the residential construction industry, specifically in estimating
  • Cost estimating experience is required (experience with estimating software a plus)
  • Strong competence and high aptitude required for accurate cost estimating and budget management
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License, a vehicle, and auto insurance coverage are required
  • Must be a US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident.
  • Experience with construction project management software is preferred
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism in all interactions
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, and excellent written and oral communication skills, including strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage deadlines with attention to detail
  • Proven experience in sales in the construction or remodeling industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project budgets.
  • Results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating tools and software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, including designers and project managers.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some evening and weekend work is possible.

Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.
