Production Supervisor

Supervise the personnel, processing, scheduling, maintenance, safety, housekeeping, and training to meet the mission statement.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Environment - Provide a safe work environment and promote employee safety as the number one goal.
• Productivity - Work to achieve higher asset utilization through improved reliability and scheduling efficiency.
• Quality - Promote an understanding of customer needs and the necessity for delivering our products on time.
• Maintenance - Increase the efficiency of the maintenance crews by providing direct supervision and support in the areas of job priorities, assignments, staffing, area cross training, delay reduction, breakdown support, schedule adherence, etc.
• Continuous Improvement - Continue the development of technology and create the environment that encourages this in others and seek continual improvement. Promote aggressiveness and innovation to push the limits of normal operation.
• Communication - Maintain good employee relations - represent the company to employees, customers and public.
• Cost - Maximize potential of all resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (a degree is preferred)
• 4 years of experience in metals manufacturing
• 4 years of production leadership experience
• Lean/continuous improvement experience
