Your Job KBX is looking for a Freight Consolidation Specialist to join our team.

This position will be responsible for the consolidation of Less Than Truckload (LTL) orders into full truckloads, and the execution of LTL orders.

FCS also handles returns, inbound vital supplies and resetting delivery appointments with external customers. This role is located out of our Green Bay, WI office, with an opportunity to work up to three days per week from home and two days per week or more in office.

• Utilize software (Freight Consolidation Optimization) to process customer orders and identify current mode based on cost and service analysis.
• Utilize the available tools to manage cost, service, and capacity through the optimization process.
• Set up and coordinate direct store deliveries (DSD) promotional events
• Work with outside vendors moving vital supplies to customers
• Build and sustain positive relationships within the supply chain
• Support outbound planning desks within operations by helping with LTL related tracking and / or other operational issues
• Back up other Freight Consolidation Specialist desks, as needed
• Work with Outbound load planner and the facility to manage LTL carrier trailer pools and proactively identify gaps to prevent loading issues
• Analyze data to identify trends and determine solutions for improved service and / or cost, and collaborate with teammates and carriers to identify service improvement opportunities
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) or professional work experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word; to write business correspondence, Excel; for use of spreadsheets, reporting, simple formulas and Outlook;
