Title:
Lead, Quality AssuranceKBR is looking for a Lead, Quality Assurance to provide specialized technical expertise in support of the Quality program, including specialized inspection and testing techniques, quality training, statistical methods, audits, quality tools for problem solving and assessment. Creates inspection reports stating the conditions of a work area to ensure requirements are met. Makes recommendations for corrective action. Applies knowledge of quality systems and tools to validate and verify contractually required standards for project execution. Implements principles of performance evaluation and prediction methods are used to improve product systems safety, reliability, and maintainability. Responsible for maintaining quality standard of products and the procedures and materials that go into work scope. Aligns quality management function with the performance needs of product lines. Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
This position is located at a client site in Marshall, Minnesota.
***Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident***
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Review GC project quality plan and ITPs for adequacy to ensure a QA/QC program is implemented and followed during life cycle of project thus ensuring code compliance and quality project.
Provide any technical quality support throughout various phases of the project.
Verification that appropriate QA documentation is obtained & retained for project.
Verification of required testing or visual inspections has been performed successfully.
Hydro (if required), flange tightness testing, line blowdowns, in-service testing, etc.
Vessel and/or equipment closures
If required, collaborate with GC to develop required “Turnover Documentation” within Turn Over Package (TOP) as required.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Undergrad degree preferred with 7 years of experience.
