Job Description: Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. This would include backhoe, vacuum truck, loader, dump trailer and various other pieces of equipment.
Compensation: $24 -$28.00 Based on Experience 
Job Requirements:

• 1-5 years of previous operator experience.
• Possess mechanical aptitude
• CDL Class A or B and clean driving record.
• Hazmat Familiarity
• Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically strenuous and demanding job in all types of weather.
• Must be flexible to changes in schedule and be available for “on call” status.
• Ability to follow directions is a must.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Job Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operators must be able to operate equipment safely, and efficiently according to all applicable regulations.
• Must have knowledge of safety procedures and hazards relating to construction and equipment operation.
• Performs pre-trip inspections and any minor maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Position requires the individual pass a physical examination.
• Operators must possess an understanding of basic environmental regulations, including but not limited to EPA RCRA, TSCA, DOT Hazmat, ICR-56, and NY PCB regulations.
• Performs non-routine and occasionally heavy labor tasks related to on-site industrial waste, hazardous waste operation and maintenance.
• Maintains appropriate log of activities.
• Assignments are undertaken independently on a regular basis.
• Timely submission is required of all project-related record keeping requirements.
• This position requires “on call” availability for spill response activities 24/7.
