POSITION SUMMARY Inspect, test, and maintain, new and reworked tools, dies, gauges, jigs and fixtures to ensure proper operation and conformance to specifications. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Follow all company Policies and Procedures, Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS), Kawasaki Production System (KPS) and any other legal and compliance regulations that may apply such as OSHA. * Repair, maintain and modify jigs, fixtures and dies to support proper function and quality of the die process. * May prepare die for repair by cleaning and moving to repair area. * Input die history into electronic database system. * Suggest improvements to die process or equipment and collaborate with others to support implementation. * Perform tests or inspections to determine maintenance needs. * May train team members. * Communicate with all shifts and share work and other issues.
