Kavaliro's client is seeking a System Administrator in Orlando, FL.
  • The IT System Administrator performs the maintenance of existing networks, servers, and data center infrastructure through monitoring, testing, handling updates and installing and implementing security and management software.The IT System Administrator also ensures the availability of all network and infrastructure systems, including the development of test environments and procedures.In addition, this position acquires and maintains current licenses, checking for security breaches and maintaining proper installations and applications.

    Overview & Responsibilities:
  • Ensures timely file or system restoration by leading the implementation and testing of appropriate backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Benchmarks, analyzes, leads, and reports on the implementation of performance improvements and growth of IT network infrastructure and IT network systems
  • Independently manages the application of security patches for network hardware and software in coordination with the IT vulnerability management program
  • Assures all network and physical infrastructure alerting and reporting, availability, scalability, security, and performance are within proper specifications
  • Ensures all necessary security controls and features for all network and infrastructure meet Compassion's security and compliance requirements
  • Install, maintain, and resolve application, software, and hardware issues that affect employees
  • Support the networking environment and administration of accounts
  • Review and create detailed and impactful documentation for peers and user base
  • Stay current on industry trends and leading technologies and have a burning desire to provide the best customer experience
  • Routinely review and assess the effectiveness of existing processes, tools, applications, and service providers used by the department
  • Requirement & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge is a plus
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Expert understanding of Windows Server, Windows 10, and other Microsoft Technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificate Services, BitLocker
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, MS M365 suite
  • Strong network understanding and the ability to troubleshoot routing, switching, and connectivity issues
  • Deep experience with service management tools, system monitoring tools, escalation management, and alerts
  • Experience using server and networking applications to support employees around access management, Active Directory, end-user protection, AV/Malware, etc.
