Katy & Frank Home Buyers is Hiring a Handyperson (FT) Near Omaha, NE

We're looking for a residential home handyperson/runner to help with the general maintenance and repairs of our single-family rental property in Omaha, NE. This is work from home role.
Position Overview:

You'll respond to your typical tenant requests like leaky faucets, HVAC systems, changing smoke detectors, water heaters, pipes, garbage disposals, toilets, and light electrical work.
We handle answering the phones and logging the tenant repair requests, you'll just be given work orders to schedule when you like to complete them.

Responsibilities:

Detect and report the need for maintenance repairs when visiting a home.
Regularly check homes to identify issues with litter, mechanical failure, or breakdowns.
Respond to tenants’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Repair plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
Conduct performance assessments of company appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens, and coffee makers.
Provide tenants with support and guidance on maintaining their equipment.
Run errands for the management company on occasion that will include posting notices, checking homes are occupied or showing homes to potential tenants.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role.
Solid experience with plumbing and electrical systems is preferred.
Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
Extremely organized with good communication skills.
Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.
Background in fixing HVAC systems preferred.

Compensation: $20-$30 hourly (30-40 hours a week of work available).
