Kattih M Ziyad MD is looking for an Experienced Medical Assistant to join our team.
Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and an engaged team player.
Responsibilities
- Take patient vitals and Room for provider
- Organize exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Complete basic routine medical procedures
- Record accurate patient documentation through EMR System
- Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies
- Insurance Verification; working knowledge of PPO, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid and Workers Compensation
- Assist Back Office Tasks as assigned
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 Year or more of solid work experience working in a medical field; pain management experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certified Medical Assistant Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program.
- Familiarity working with medical equipment
- High attention to accuracy and detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Bilingual; preferred but not required
- Call Center Experience
- WPM: 45
