Job Purpose:

The primary purposes of your job position is to obtain required information, schedule assessments, and admit patients in an efficient manner, This position coordinates, directs, and administers policies, procedures, events, and projects relating to all phases of the public relations of the facility as directed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Schedule/conduct facility tours for prospective patients and their families/representatives.
• Represent the facility in community events and meetings
• Work closely with our nurse management team, including DON on approving referrals on a clinical stand point.
• Work closely with on Business Office Manager on approving referrals financially and managing authorizations and discharges.
• Maintain an accurate record of available beds at all times and meet census goals.
• Obtain required written information and patient history.
• Complete medical assessment on potential patients for admission eligibility evaluation and serve as a liaison between the Administrator, medical staff, and other professional advisory staff both inside and outside the facility.
• Coordinate with nursing to schedule admissions, transfers, and discharges of patients as required.
• Maintain good working rapport with inter-department personnel as well as hospital discharge planners and social workers.
• Take on additional duties and responsibilities that may become necessary to assure that the needs of the facility and it's patients are met.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,800.00 - $55,000.00 per year
