Unarmed Security Floater Officer

The Floating Security Officer will be responsible for providing coverage for various locations on the Southside and Northside locations in Chicago, IL. The position provides a full-time schedule with opportunities to work overtime. The officer is provided with a set schedule for a majority of their hours, prior to any call-in requests. The floater position requires complete availability and requires the officer to be as flexible as possible.

• 21 years of age
• High School Diploma, GED/Transcripts required
• Unarmed credentials (20-Hour Unarmed Training Certificate & Current PERC required)
• Previous experience as a Security officer is desired
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on the organization's needs.
• Floaters must be able to work 4pm-12am or 12am-8am will include weekends and/or holidays

• Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
• Provide excellent customer service
• Adhere to all company service and operating standards by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly, and professionally at all times
• Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
• Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
• Follow all client site specific duties, as required and outlined in post-orders
