Creative Director

We are seeking a seasoned Creative Director with a proven track record in successfully executing public health and social change campaigns. The Creative Director at KAT & Company will lead our creative team in developing and executing dynamic marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. This role requires a deep understanding of engagement behaviors and techniques and a passion for creative messaging and storytelling that inspires change. Candidates should have experience with public health and non-profit marketing that promotes health and well-being in communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop creative strategies that align with our "Culture Connect" philosophy.
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers, writers, videographers and producers to create compelling content that drives social change and supports non-profit initiatives.
  • Oversee the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring that all content is engaging, strategically aligned, and adheres to high-quality standards.
  • Stay abreast of trends in public health communication, non-profit marketing, and creative innovation, applying best practices to our strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive brand message.
  • Oversee the production of creative assets for a variety of platforms.
  • Work alongside the marketing team to measure and report on the effectiveness of creative campaigns, using insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative leadership role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects in public health communication, non-profit, or conservation work.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute meticulously.
  • Passion for understanding and connecting with diverse audiences.

Location
This position may be eligible for remote employment

Salary
$75,000 - $90,000 depending on proven skills and relevant experience

Compensation Package Includes

  • A KAT match of up to 4% of the employee contribution to the employer sponsored 401K retirement program
  • Two (2) weeks annual leave
  • One (1) week annual sick leave
  • Seven (7) paid holidays
  • Additional paid time off during monthly on-call Fridays (evaluated with workflow quarterly)
  • Potential for flexible work-schedules (based on position and manager approval)
  • Optional Summer Hours - typically allowed from Memorial Day to Labor Day - extended hours Monday-Thursday and Friday afternoons off
