Position Overview:
Kassouf is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Client Accounting & Advisory Services Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the client accounting services group, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely financial information to our clients. You will lead a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional client service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the client accounting & advisory services (“CAAS”) group, including review of client engagements and mentoring CAAS.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of client projects.
  • Review financial statements and other client deliverables to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and preparation of account reconciliations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, loans, fixed assets and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify their accounting needs, provide guidance, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures and controls to optimize efficiency and accuracy in client accounting operations.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices, and incorporate them into the department's operations as appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of client accounting services.
  • Develop staff by providing training and regular feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of new team members to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • Prepare and deliver client proposals and fees estimates
Education & Experience:
  • Full charge bookkeeping experience (4-6 years preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles including account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (QuickBooks Online) and related tools, Excel, Word and have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
