The Customer Service and Research (CSR) team at KarmaCheck is excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated Credentialing Liaison to serve as a critical link between KarmaCheck and our valued client based out of Sunrise, Florida. This is an ideal role for someone proactive, has at least one year of experience in healthcare credentialing, and possesses outstanding customer service skills. The chosen candidate will play a key role in providing daily updates, ensuring effective communication, and speeding up the delivery of clinical results, all while guaranteeing smooth operations and high levels of client satisfaction.

We're looking for a candidate with a background in medical compliance and the background check industry, ready to embrace the challenges and rewards of a rapidly growing company. This role demands flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities, strict adherence to intricate rules and policies, and a commitment to satisfying customer needs without compromise.

Please note that this full-time, in-person position requires 40 hours per week at our client's headquarters in Sunrise, Florida. Applicants must be willing to work evening and/or weekend hours if needed, especially in situations requiring urgent attention to customer issues.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as the primary on-site contact for all escalation points and communication between KarmaCheck and the client, ensuring a seamless flow of information.
  • Review all pending candidate files to provide real-time updates on statuses and possible blockers
  • Respond to customer and candidate inquiries with urgency, accuracy, and a professional tone. Collaborate with internal teams at KarmaCheck and external vendors to expedite case updates and retrieve results.
  • Conduct thorough research and verification of healthcare provider information through direct contact with primary sources (e.g., hospitals, licensing boards), the Internet, and other electronic and hardcopy databases.
  • Actively engage with our clients onsite, asking questions and over-communicating to solve problems collaboratively. 
What You'll Bring
  • 1 years of healthcare staffing credentialing experience
  • 2 years of work experience in the background check and/or start up industries
  • 3 years of relevant professional work experience in customer service and/or technical support
  • Strong proactive attitude and ability to serve as a primary liaison between our internal team and client team.
  • Technical aptitude with computers and technology, and using online communication tools for text, voice, and video when needed
  • Detail and data-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and driven 
  • Must be able to adjust to changing priorities as is common in a startup environment
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and Salesforce is a bonus! 
  • Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail

  • The expected base compensation for this role is between $45,000 - $60,000 as a base pay for work performed in the United States. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience level, transferable skills, education, location, business needs, training, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

Interview Process:

1. Initial Screening: 30-minute call with a recruiter.

2. Panel Interview: 30-minute session focusing on culture and team fit with the CSR team.

3. Manager Interview: 30-minute discussion with the CSR Senior Manager.

4. Client Interview: Final 1-hour interview with our client.

All interviews are carried out over Zoom with the expectation that the video will remain on throughout the process.
