VP of Technology Job Responsibilities:

· Work with the leadership team to set clear priorities and goals for IT management and production, balancing the long-term and immediate needs.

· Oversee data security, management, and governance.

· Establishing and maintaining ITGC SOX Compliance and SD policy creation and enforcement (user access control, segregation of duties, internal system programming, coding development and change management)

· Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships.

· Manage IT resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metrics.

· Define the company’s overall technology strategy to support business objectives.

· Make infrastructure decisions, ensuring technical excellence, versatility, safety and soundness, resiliency and scalability in the architecting and engineering of product solutions, as well as managing all technical delivery.

· Facilitate the development and implementation of disaster recovery and IT security failure plans.

· Ensure tight collaboration across departments to drive strategic initiatives, including understanding of the alignment between technology strategy and various technology road maps.

· Create strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services.

· Demonstrates deep understanding of the company’s core technologies and the ability to stay ahead of technological trends.

· Leadership with skills in strategic planning, goal setting, processes development, budgeting, and creating opportunities for professional development within technology teams.

· Broad knowledge of software engineering: languages, frameworks, techniques, and industry trends - Java, Python, C , C#, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, and etc.

· Knowledge of assessing, managing, and mitigating technology risks, including cybersecurity threats.

· Must be proficient in MS Office.

Education & Experience Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field (master’s degree and certifications preferred).

· Must have 3-5 years of experience as a CTO, VP, director, or similar leadership role.

· Familiarity with modern system applications available in the market as options to be able to help with robotics/automation or efficiency for company operational processes.

· Must have experience with NetSuite or other Financial and MRP/ERP software.

· Must have migration and implementation initiatives; partnering with business operation owners and demonstrated skills in change management on an organizational and interpersonal level.

· Experience with integrating teams across multiple business units and managing a geographically dispersed workforce.

· Strong experience in managing technology projects from conception to implementation, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

· 3-5 years of experience with platforms such as Shopify, AWS, web hosting, build from scratch, OMS, PIM, mobile App development, API, integration, etc.

· Experience in optimizing technology systems and processes for greater efficiency, reliability, and performance.

· Must speak fluent English. Mandarin is a plus.

· Must be able to travel 30% of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
