Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various drink recipes
- Familiarity with Clover POS system or similar point-of-sale software
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service
- Understanding of food handling and safety procedures
- Knowledge of the food service industry, including catering practices
