An Australian QS Consultancy with a national presence seek to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Sydney CBD.
This organisation are well resourced, enjoy a strong pipeline of work, and have excellent systems & structures in place to enable you to excel.
They have a dedicated team of cost managers and planners providing services across procurement, cost estimating, advisory, cost management, due diligence reporting, and carbon planning
.
They promote on talent rather than time served, so this role would appeal to an ambitious QS looking to fast track their career.
Role/Responsibilities:

• Working with the client and consultants at various stages of the process.
• Preparing cost reports and presenting to the client.
• Overseeing tendering process, pre-qualification stage, tendering lists, preliminaries, analysis, reporting and compiling contractual documentation.
• Feasibility studies..
• Cost estimates and planning.

This role would ideally suit a QS with a couple of years experience in consultancy, who would like to develop their skills in a 'live environment' and get a chance to run their own projects.
Their project portfolio ranges from commercial to civil, transport, defence, health, education and more.
Required qualifications/experience:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, with solid experience of working for a PQS firm in Australia. AIQS of RICS accreditation would be highly regarded.
