Job duties : Work involves general clerical duties in the Office of the Clerk of the District Court. Daily responsibilities for alphabetical and numerical filing systems, and cross training into areas determined by the Clerk of Court will be required.
Work includes computer work, accurate recording of documentation received in cases, receipting and disbursing monies, telephone duties, filing and issuing paperwork to attorneys and litigants and assisting the public.
Required education and experience : Graduation from high school or GED and 6 months of experience in office clerical work.
Preferred qualifications : One-year experience in a court clerk’s or legal office with accounting and general bookkeeping, plus a work knowledge of computers preferred.
