Our Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is responsible for creating and maintaining a cohesive nursing management team among the 7 nursing units, promoting and facilitating a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, to ensure the coordination and delivery of care are consistent with professional standards and with the mission, values and vision of the organization. The CNO and management team have 24/7 responsibility for staffing and problem resolution, consultations with staff and physicians to ensure that patient care needs are met. The CNO is responsible for communicating and interpreting organization policies to the nursing management team, and working with the team to ensure efficient and cost-effective use of human and material resources.
The CNO has a role in the Executive Management Team and participates in financial planning and strategic analysis and implementation. Ensures the units are in compliance with state and federal regulations, also supervises Quality, Utilization, Risk, and Education programs.
