KANSAS ELECTRIC is Hiring an Electrical Estimator Near Newton, KS

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for the review of construction plans and specifications to create detailed and accurate bid proposals.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and complete estimates and change orders.
  • Will prepare bill of materials and coordinate vendor materials and subcontractor quotes
  • Will analyze job-specific conditions and identify issues that may affect labor and materials
  • Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to secure materials, price, lead times, scope of work, and schedule.
  • Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI and contingency logs.
  • Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • Must have prior Industrial Electrical Estimating experience
  • Estimating Software Basic Experience (McCormick Preferred)
  • Technical Writing Skills for Scope and Proposal Document Creation
  • Basic Microsoft Office Knowledge (Excel, Word)
  • Organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Self Motivated and Team player

Salary: $75,000/yr-$95,000/yr
