Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Math Interventionist to join our team. We specialize in treating children with dyslexia. Your role will involve implementing intervention strategies, collaborating with teachers and parents, and monitoring student progress. The ideal candidate will have experience in math intervention and differentiated instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group intervention sessions to students
- Collaborate with other therapists and parents
- Assess student needs and develop appropriate learning goals
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance student engagement and understanding
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents, and other stakeholders regarding student progress
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
-Knowledge and familiarity with dyslexia and/or dyscalculia
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is a plus
