Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute is Hiring an Urgent Care Registered Nurse - PRN Near Leawood, KS

PRN- Urgent Care Registered Nurse

Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute (KCOI) is a single specialty orthopedic hospital. We are physician owned, 17 IPU beds with 8 state of the art surgical suites. We have been serving the Kansas City area for over 20 years. Our hospital offers our staff work life balance, a 1:2 nurse to patient ratio, flexible self-scheduling with supervisor final approval, Monday through Friday and weekend schedules, no Holidays, or mandatory on call. Our Urgent Care is a large part of the daily operations at the Hospital, operational Monday through Friday 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm. Salary based on experience.

We are seeking PRN- RN who are looking to make extra money working when you want! We have a dynamic and unique working environment. This is 100% orthopedic case load. 3yrs Ortho experience, with either ER or UC experience, is a must.

Job Function:

Provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. This includes assisting physicians and staff in coordinating patient care and functioning as a primary liaison between patients, staff and physicians. They will be responsible for patient and family education, keeping the unit clean and stocked, and electronic charting in the patients’ medical record. Collaborate with the physicians to ensure patient care is at its highest level.

Pay: From $1.00 per hour
