A DAY IN THE LIFE OF HEALTHY FAMILIES FAMILY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR
As a family coordinator, you vitally sustain our outreach to the community by finding families throughout Kansas that are in dire need of continuous assistance and prolonged development. Through excellent organization and time management, you accomplish 40% of administrative duties of tracking referrals and enrollments on a monthly basis, assisting your supervisor with annual site visit preparation with tracking program acceptance rates, retention rates, and other required data. Another 40% of your activities revolve around recruitment, assessment, and enrollment of families, which is graciously handled with efficient communication and your vast knowledge of culturally diverse backgrounds. Your essential collaborative techniques fill in the remaining 20% of activities partaking in parent engagement coordination where you coordinate support groups, encourage involvement with Healthy Families participants, and integrate parent leadership opportunities with our team. HEALTHY FAMILIES FAMILY ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR WORK SCHEDULE
Typically, our full-time family coordinator engages with family services Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 5 PM with occasional evenings or Saturdays as needed. This schedule includes frequent traveling. Your flexibility to recruit and enroll new families throughout the month is always appreciated.
