We are seeking an experienced yard jockey to safely move and reposition trailers between loading docks and in the yard of a busy distribution center environment. Schedule: Tuesday-Friday -5:30PM-4AM Benefits:1st of the month after 60 days. Pay Rate: $23.00 plus $1.50 Shift Differential. Safety of our associates has always been Kane's #1 priority. We are aggressively responding to COVID-19: * Take temperatures with a no-touch thermometer at the start of the shift * Increased cleaning routines and periodically deep clean * Provide associates with appropriate PPE that now includes masks * Maintain an ample supply of antibacterial lotion throughout the building * Practice social distancing * Expect our associates to maintain cleanliness, social distancing, and use PPE Responsibilities * Performs trailer movements. * Will be required to drive a forklift as needed. * Checks trailer lights and tires * Monitors truck refrigeration units * Maintains an orderly lot and paperwork for trailer locations. * Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals * Write routine reports and correspondence Benefits * Medical, Dental, Vision after 60 days of employment (Options available) * 401K with matching program * STD, LTD * Vacation and sick time Requirements * 1 year of verifiable experience * High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education * Must be able to operate a yard truck safely.
