Provide supportive casework services to families to help them improve their overall functioning. Duties include: completing assessments (family assessments) and investigations, being part of the intake rotation, screening child protection reports, providing supportive casework services to families to help the family improve their overall functioning , complete case plans, testify at court and write court reports, work with numerous agencies to meet families needs.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Duties of the job include: Completing assessments (family assessments) and investigations, this includes interviewing children, parents and collateralsBeing part of the intake rotationScreening child protection reportsProviding supportive casework services to families to help the family improve their overall functioningComplete case plansTestify at court and write court reportsWork with numerous agencies to meet families needsBe on-call assigned to provide coverage for emergency social service situations.
