The Sales Operations Project Manager is a critical role that is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the sales operations processes to enhance efficiency and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, sales operations, and a proven track record of implementing successful initiatives to support sales teams. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline sales operations processes, including lead management, forecasting, territory planning, and sales performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT, to identify opportunities for process improvement and alignment.
  • Lead the design and execution of sales operations projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales operations initiatives and track progress towards goals.
  • Analyze sales data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing sales strategies and driving revenue growth.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on sales operations best practices and industry trends, providing guidance and support to sales teams as needed.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and materials to educate sales teams on new processes and tools.
  • Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact sales operations projects or performance.
  • Stay informed about relevant technologies and tools to enhance sales operations capabilities and drive efficiency.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, project management, or a related field, with a track record of success in driving operational improvements.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation through completion.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong understanding of high-level strategic direction and sales goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proven excellence in a face-paced business environment, prioritizing projects and meeting deadlines and goals.
  • Confident with onboarding, training, and mentoring the sales team at every stage of their careers.
