Job Overview:
We are seek Front Desk Reception-Customer Service
3 to 4 days per week
Receive customer calls and emails implementing prompt follow-up to customer inquiries.
Maintain front desk area, organizing, filing paperwork, keeping track of items to be picked up by shippers, customers and consignor returns.
Maintaining appraisal sign-in and client flow on free appraisal days
Maintaining and adding to master customer list spreadsheet with address, email, and phone number changes
Accepting payments by phone and in person for auction purchases.
Accepting and registering customers for auction registrations through Invaluable, Live Auctioneers, and Kaminski Live auction platforms during the weeks previous to the auction
Setting up absentee bids and phone bids for walk-in customers-submitting forms and entering in system
Follow-up calls cycling every week for payment collection, shipping/ pick-up requests.
Assisting fellow staff with the auction set up, numbering items, finding items etc.
Work auction days on weekends by assisting the front desk or working auction platforms during the auction. ng a detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at the front desk.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Assist with check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
- Maintain a tidy and presentable front desk area
- Handle customer complaints or issues with patience and professionalism
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, copying, and scanning documents
- Coordinate projects as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service or a similar role
- Proficiency in computerized systems for order entry, data entry, and file management
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic administrative tasks
- Ability to provide outstanding customer support in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of phone systems and handling multiple lines efficiently
