We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Operations Project Manager to join the team in the Bloomfield, CT location. The position will manage factory projects to support the business’s strategic objectives, policies and requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and managing detailed budgets and short/long-range plans for projects based on company growth and future needs. Monitors expenditures and identifies variances while implementing corrective actions.
• Establishes, communicates, executes, and monitors detailed project plans that support on-time/on-budget objectives. Works to Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
• Works collaboratively with Advanced Manufacturing and Manufacturing Technology teams to incorporate new technology into expansion and growth initiatives.
• Responsible for gathering, documenting, and eliciting business, solution, and stakeholder requirements for a defined project. Develops project scope and objectives. Maintains technical alignment with key stakeholders
• Measures and monitors performance of all programs. Analyzes trends and makes recommendations. 
• Partners with Operations, Facility, and Safety teams to identify problems, solutions/requirements for projects that improve efficiency, growth, safety, and performance.
• Works closely with company Finance team to proactively communicate changes/recommendations to project plans and budgets.
• Maintains workflow while balancing changing needs of the business. Communicates information to appropriate departments and individuals. Provides updates to management.
• Implements Lean methodologies when developing project plans/layouts to achieve company goals in cost, throughput, productivity, quality and delivery.
• Ensures that work environment is clean, safe and that safety, health and environmental procedures and regulations are followed
• Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned. Accomplishes related results as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in in Manufacturing/Industrial/Systems Engineering or equivalent experience

Experience: 8 years experience in a manufacturing enviornoment, preferably with an emphasis on project management.
