The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role supports Kamada Inc.'s products and therapeutic areas by engaging in clinical-scientific knowledge exchange with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)/Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), researchers, and decision-makers. This is a field-based position covering the central region of the US and requires professionals with established personal and scientific credibility to interact with thought leaders and academic centers of excellence. The MSL provides comprehensive scientific and clinical education to internal and external stakeholders, contributes to scientific knowledge generation, and reports valuable insights. Collaborating with a growing team of industry leaders and innovators, the MSL plays a crucial role within the Medical Affairs team. Reporting directly to the Director of US Medical Affairs, the MSL drives US operations and initiatives in alignment with Kamada's corporate vision.

Core Responsibilities
  • Engage in high-level scientific exchange with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across Kamada's product portfolio to identify valuable insights and clinical opportunities in key disease and therapeutic areas.
  • Identify, develop, and manage ongoing relationships with KOLs to support company objectives and enhance Kamada's reputation as a scientifically innovative industry partner.
  • Collaborate with KOLs to support Kamada's clinical program, including identifying opportunities for data generation, interpretation, and communication, such as investigator-initiated studies.
  • Acquire and maintain scientific knowledge in key therapeutic areas and disease states related to Kamada's products, and effectively evaluate, interpret, and share up-to-date medical-scientific data while ensuring compliance.
  • Deliver educational programs to internal and external audiences (KOLs, healthcare professionals, investigators, payors, formulary committees) with clarity, balance, and accuracy, serving as a valuable resource for scientific information dissemination.
  • Serve as a medical content expert and appropriately document medical inquiries/insights from healthcare professionals (HCPs).
  • Attend scientific and medical meetings to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.
  • Assist in the scientific training of internal employees.


Requirements

  • Expected travel frequency is approximately 60% of working time.


Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Pharm D, MD/DO, PhD, PA or NP, BSN) in a relevant scientific discipline is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical, scientific research, or pharmaceutical industry experience is required, with preference given to those with experience in solid organ transplantation.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, field-based environment.
