About the Role

We are a global leader in the supply chain execution market, focused on accelerating the transformation of digital supply chain for industrial and finished goods shippers and carriers by combining best-in-class solutions for challenges tied to yard management, shipment visibility, and asset management, across rail, truck, and multi-mode transportation.

We're seeking a forward-thinking individual to join our IT Enterprise Business Application team. This team member will ensure adherence to IT standards, handle user and security management, gather requirements, provide training, debug issues, and deliver high-quality solutions. This position is a blend of a Senior Financial Force Administrator and BI Analyst who will be the primary point of contact for all FinancialForce-related activities and responsible for the end-to-end development of data analytics solutions, from understanding business requirements to designing and rolling out BI solutions to end-users. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong analytical background who is adept at using data to solve complex business problems and have a blend of technical and financial expertise and a deep understanding of the FinancialForce system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our FinancialForce ERP tool.
  • Work with finance, professional services and technology teams to develop and implement new business processes within FinancialForce.
  • Customize FinancialForce to fit business needs, with the ability to create custom objects, fields, and formulas.
  • Actively identify and implement process improvements within the FinancialForce platform.
  • Keep abreast of new FinancialForce features and functionality, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests.
  • Provide training, documentation and assistance to users on the FinancialForce functionality.
  • Ensure system integrity and security, manage user roles and profiles, and perform regular system audits.

Requirements

  • 6 years of configuration experience with Salesforce and Financial Force PSA.
  • Experience with flows, custom objects, and understanding integrations.
  • Understanding Salesforce packages (managed and unmanaged).
  • Applying best business practices for Salesforce/Financial Force configuration changes.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively.
  • Hands-on experience in administration setup, including managing users, security controls, data, and creating roles, profiles, and permission sets.
  • Experience designing custom objects, fields, picklists, page layouts, flows, approval processes, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, understanding Visualforce pages, and reading Apex classes.
  • Ability to debug issues and document requirements.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology.
  • Experience with CICD tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide optimal solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • FinancialForce ERP certification is highly desirable.
