Kaleidoscope Family Solutions ABA, Inc. (Kaleidoscope ABA) ABA Therapist/Center-Based Services Team is looking for Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team! We have full and part-time openings in our Bridgeport ABA center.

Description
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children under the clinical supervision of a BCBA. The behavior technician will follow individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, and other clinical instructions to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child and the family.

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a minimum of an Associates Degree in a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
Physical Demands:
  • Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).
  • Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
  • Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.).
Mental Demands:
  • Ability to respond effectively to varied demands of the child, family, supervisor, and other team members.
  • Ability to multi-task and take descriptive and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions.
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with the student that may occur at home, at school, or out in the community.
  • Ability to problem solve as well as respond in a proactive and professional manner.
Work Environment:
Center-based environment for children and parents.
