Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children under the clinical supervision of a BCBA. The behavior technician will follow individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, and other clinical instructions to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child and the family.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a minimum of an Associates Degree in a related field
- At least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets).
- Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
- Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.).
- Ability to respond effectively to varied demands of the child, family, supervisor, and other team members.
- Ability to multi-task and take descriptive and accurate documentation.
- Ability to use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions.
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with the student that may occur at home, at school, or out in the community.
- Ability to problem solve as well as respond in a proactive and professional manner.
