American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of Hire and must be maintained thereafter. RN Special Procedure - One (1) year critical care/telemetry (within 3 years) experience required for EP Lab, Cath Lab and Endovascular (Neuro), Interventional Radiology, Non Invasive Cardiology Heart and Lung Center. Special Procedure RNs in Procedure Labs at BGMC must obtain American Heart Association ACLS by 6/30/2021 and must be maintained thereafter, employees hired after 8/25/2020 into this Procedures Labs at BGMC must obtain ACLS within 6 months of transferring into the position.
