PositionSummary

Floor Leaders are responsible for ensuring the highest quality customer service, accepting and processing returns, obtaining, receiving, weighing and organizing merchandise,totalingbills,acceptingpayment,makingchangeforcustomers,leadingstore opening and closing procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work space, enhancing productknowledge,supportingbudtendersandcomplyingwithOLCCrulesandregulations at all times.

FloorLeadersmustleadbyexamplebydisplayingintegrityandhonestyinallaspectsof service.FloorLeaderswillperformbasictrainingandcoachingtobudtendersandreceptionists. Floor Leaders are responsible for communicating information from management, organizing break and meal times for employees, moving products in bio-track, opening and closing registersandthestore.FloorLeadersdonothavediscretiontohire,fireordisciplinepersonnel.

EssentialDutiesandResponsibilities

  • VerifyvalidityofidentificationofguestsasperOLCCguidelines.
  • Ensure each guest receives outstanding customer service by fostering a friendly, welcomingatmosphere;thisincludesgreetingandacknowledgingeveryguestpromptly and enthusiastically, answering questions and/or concerns, making guests feel appreciated through your actions and having solid product knowledge.
  • Ensureallareasarecleaned,stockedandcomplianttoensureaneffective,efficientand safe workflow.
  • Inputcustomers’orders,collectmoneyfromguestsandmakechange;totalingpriceand tax on merchandise; accepting payment and making change; as well as packaging products in the appropriate exit container as per OLCC regulations.
  • Leadteammembersinstoreopeningandclosingprocedures.
  • Ensuringthatthestoreandsafesarelockedandsecureatclosing time
  • Administerteammembersmealandrestperiods.
  • Arrangeproductstomaintainanattractivedisplay.
  • Closeregistersanddepositcashdrops
  • Learnguests’namesandfavoriteproducts.
  • Labelingproducts,movinginventoryinbiotrack.
  • AdheretoallOLCCmarijuanarulesandguidelines.
  • Otherdutiesasassigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • PossessOLCCMarijuanaWorkerPermit
  • Highlevelworkingcomputerknowledge
  • Moderatetoadvancedcannabis/productknowledge
  • Abilitytospeakpolitelyandeffectivelywithadiverseclienteleandemployees
  • Ability to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions
  • Ability to interpret and apply state cannabis rules according to the governing body.

PhysicalDemandsandWorkEnvironment

The Floor Leader position requires the ability to process information and merchandise through computer and POS register systems; the ability to effectively communicate with associates and guests; the ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation;theabilitytofreelyaccessallareasofthestoreincludingthesalesfloor,stock area, and register area; the ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
