Kale's Truck & Heavy Equipment Service Inc. is Hiring a Diesel Technician Near Bowling Green, KY

Kales Truck & Heavy Equipment started in 1999 in Dillon SC. With over 20 years in business we have grown from a local heavy-duty maintenance specialist facility, to a national full-service on-site repair professional that specializes in consulting, managing and staffing. The ownership at Kales Truck & Heavy Equipment have 50 years of combined experience in maintenance specializing in concrete mixer truck and plant maintenance. We are building on our foundation of success by selecting the finest people and helping them realize their potential and grow with our company.

The Ideal candidate must be able to perform inspections and make needed repairs on Ready Mix trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose electrical problems and perform mechanical repairs and maintenance to various types of equipment including but not limited ready mix concrete trucks and other heavy equipment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes and failure analysis.
  • Perform routine inspections/adjustments on mixer trucks following DOT requirements.
  • Complete paperwork on daily repairs/services detailing work performed.
  • Coordinate with supervisor and review Pre-Trip truck inspections to prioritize work
  • Communicate with drivers and plant managers to help ensure preventative vehicle maintenance policies and practices are being followed.
  • Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches and welding equipment
  • Order and pick up parts from vendors when needed.
  • May assist in the maintenance and repair of fixed equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems
  • Willingness to work varied shift hours and overtime as needed
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must have a willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
