The Divisional Accountant position is responsible for Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Costing, Credit/Collections, month and year-end close for PRAB’s sister company in Minnesota. The position is on-site at PRAB’s headquarters in Kalamazoo and reports to the Corporate Controller.
Qualifications
- Dedication to excellence and a quality output
- Manufacturing experience 5 years. BBA in Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Experience with QuickBooks a plus
- Well organized and a self-starter
- Some travel required – 1 to 2 trips to Minnesota per year
- Commitment to detail
Responsibilities
The following activities are required in this position:
- Promote excellence throughout the department
- All aspects of Accounts Receivables
- All aspects of Accounts Payables
- Monthly, quarterly, and year-end account analysis
- Inventory
- Monthly closings and financial statements
- Various year end reporting requirements
- Assist with annual physical inventory
- Assist with year-end close
- Assist with annual financial audit
- Account reconciliation
- Customer credit and collections
- Personal property tax return
- Track and process commissions for employees and reps
- Complete state sales and use tax return.
- Cost accounting
- Government reporting/1099’s
- Payroll processing
- Assist with annual budget/operating plan
- Other duties assigned by management
