Who are we looking for?

A Project Manager level 7, Java/Microservices Technology for a critical project for one of our biggest clients in Logistic domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, Project management experience in managing 100 portfolio and managing cutting edge tools.

Job Description:

• Reviews high-level deliverables across the projects
• Responsible for successful completion of the project within the scheduled time and with the available resources
• Single point of contact between the team and customer team
• Responsible for project management activities of medium complexity digital project or support more senior level project management for high complex digital programs.
• Creates a project charter comprising detailed project plan and deliverables in consultation with customer key stakeholders and that aligns with key objectives of the project.
• Conduct weekly status meetings and updates project status to customer project/program managers.
• Identifies project risks and the corresponding mitigation plans and discuss them during the weekly status meetings.
• Responsible for setting up workshops between team and customer teams.
• Responsible for quality deliverables from the individual resources and ensures that these deliverables go through the cycle of on-time completion, review, update and delivery to customer.
• Good exposure on Production support management

Job Qualification:

• Possesses thorough knowledge in all the phases of software development life cycle.
• Working knowledge in project management procedures including scope, budget, and schedule management.
• Capable of managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects.
• Capable of managing the scope keeping the risk levels under control across projects.
• Capable of implementing engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures ensuring successful execution of the client projects.
• Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convince the need for change.
• Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills.

Mandatory Skills:

• Should be well-versed with all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Should have experience in executing projects in Fixed Price, T&M models.
• 8 years experienced in a Project Management role with proficient with Logistics domain.
• Should be familiar with the onsite / offshore model.
• Should be familiar in executing large digital program consisting of mobile, cloud, analytics etc., in a multi-vendor, multi-location through agile methodology.
• Should be able to identify the risks and resolve the issue (if any)
• Should have hands-on experience in Quality Management System
• Should be familiar with the enterprise tools (PRRISM, BPM, iExpense, MPPM, etc.,)
• Should be responsible for the P&L for the portfolio.
