Underground Utility Laborer
The Underground Utility Laborer is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utilities. This includes working with a variety of tools and equipment, including trenchers, backhoes, and jackhammers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with wastewater plants, sewers, and other underground utilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utilities
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including trenchers, backhoes, and jackhammers
- Dig trenches, lay pipes, and install fittings
- Test and repair underground utilities
- Follow all safety procedures
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience working with underground utilities (wastewater/sewer or general experience)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong physical and mental stamina
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
