Location:
This role is scheduled to be 100% remote. While remote, finalists MUST reside in one of the following states to be eligible for employment with Kaiser Permanente: CA, OR, WA, HI, CO, GA, MD, VA, CT, DC, or IL.
Department Description:
We deliver new and improved sell and renew capabilities for enterprise-wide market-facing staff, aligned to Health Plan leadership priorities using best in class project and program management, process improvement, and change management methodologies.
Internship Project(s):
As a Project Management Intern, your primary focus during this 3-month assignment will be on gaining practical insights into project management methodologies, ie Scaled Agile Framework (Safe) principles as well as more traditional Waterfall methodologies, and their application to national sales and account management processes and improvement initiatives. Working alongside senior project/program leaders on the project team, you will organize and communicate details related to a specific assignment or task while serving as an interface between team members and managers and actively contribute to the development and upkeep of detailed project management plans and related tasks (PMO Portfolio processes, RAID log management, Jira access and reporting, Power Apps, etc) in support of sales and account management projects. Your responsibilities extend to creating project artifacts and presentations tailored for senior management, as well as playing a pivotal role in establishing an various project repository’s for sales and account management projects. You will have direct leadership visibility and participate in the decision-making experience. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to enhance your understanding of project management and business process improvement/benefit identification and realization, providing you with valuable skills and knowledge applicable to future professional pursuits.
