Manages and coordinates with Medical Operations. Directs the design and implementation of effective programs for supervisory/administrative structures; provides analytical and operational support; defines and implements new performance assessment and management systems; analyzes core care processes and develops recommendations to improve department/facility performance; and monitors individual department/facility performance and recommends action steps to address issues. Creates a culture of compliance, ethics and integrity. Maintains knowledge of and assures departmental compliance with Kaiser Permanentes Principles of Responsibility and policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements and accreditation standards. Responds appropriately, including required reporting, to observed fraud or abuse.
