Description : Job Summary :

Drives company van per timed scheduled routes to company medical facilities providing efficient, safe delivery and pick up of lab, pharmacy, radiology, medical records, US postal mail and interoffice mail.

Essential Responsibilities :

• Drives company van to designated medical facilities according to a daily schedule to pick up and deliver lab, drugs, x-rays, medical records, central sterile totes, inter-office mail, U.
• S. mail, pharmaceutical materials, office supplies, PPE, educational materials for health education classes, and other materials to ensure timely delivery and pickup;

loads and unloads material and US mail at each location; ensures vehicle is locked and secured when unattended; signs pharmacy log and signs in and out lab logs.

Obtains appropriate and legible signatures for service request.

• Picks up and delivers PPE supplies and other medical equipment as needed from warehouse.
• Picks up full / empty totes for return back to warehouse, regional office or central sterile at Glenlake.
• Maintains service maintenance on company vans to ensure driving condition is safe.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications : Experience

One (1) year experience driving a cargo van or commercial vehicle on Georgia highways.

Education

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

License, Certification, Registration

Drivers License (in location where applicable)

Additional Requirements :

• Knowledge of the DOT rules and regulations for the state of Georgia.
• Good physical condition.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Dependable, reliable, follow set schedule and a team player.
• Good decision-making skills, communicator, good customer service skills and pays attention to details.
• Must be flexible in working any shift for courier routes, mailroom or shipping / receiving.
• Complete a Customer Service Assessment.
• Provides courier and mailroom back up as needed.
• No more than one (1) moving violation or three (3) points on drivers license per year.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Twenty one (21) years old (required by our insurance company).
• Customer service aptitude demonstrated through Customer Service Assessment.
• One (1) year of college.
