Pathfinder is a two-year program that starts September 2024 and ends by September 2026.
This is a remote, durational role with up to 10% travel to an office building or medical center.

Kaiser Permanente is looking for a Consultant I for the Pathfinder Program, which is a two-year rotation program that will offer professionals the opportunity togain experience, exposure, and education while completing three 8-month rotationsin various departments at KP.
The Consultant will participate in a rotation program designed to provide the full experience of the KP supply chain from vendor identification through vendor payment. Rotations in Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay, and Supply Chain Operations will provide experience and exposure in:
·Partnering with internal stakeholders to facilitate KP’s engagement and management of suppliers through the utilization of strategic and competitive market best practices.
·Sourcing, negotiating and contracting for the procurement of materials, equipment, products, and services.
·Ensuring that sourcing and supplier selection processes include diverse vendors and that sourcing and supplier selection processes support KP’s “green sourcing” initiative.
·Analyzing and evaluating vendor performance, develop and facilitate efficient procurement strategies, ensure on-schedule delivery of products and services, and improve supply chain by reducing costs and maintaining standards for product quality.
·Supporting B2P’s vision of being easy and efficient to do business with, both internally for all KP employees as well as externally across our 30,000 suppliers that must be managed and supported.
·Leveraging centralized sourcing, local contracting and purchasing, demand planning, inventory optimization, item master, technology innovation, capital management, asset disposition, project management and supply chain consulting services to ensure supply assurance, alignment and process excellence across the program.
Provides consulting support under the guidance of more senior team members to ensure the alignment, buy-in, and coordination of diverse stakeholders to drive the implementation of successful business initiatives and projects. Supports the development and implementation of business initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state. Supports strategic planning and organizational alignment and prioritization of business initiatives. Assists in the management of project components and performs data analyses in support of business initiatives, under the guidance of more senior team members. Supports compliance of work activities by adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
