Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $35.50/hr to $40.90/hr (depending on experience)

Experience:

• For Inpatient: 1 year physical rehabilitation experience
• For Outpatient: Minimum 2 years physical rehabilitation experience
• For Hand Clinic: 1 year experience in hand rehabilitation; participation in at least 1 splinting workshop which includes dynamic splinting principles

Education: Must have graduated from an ACOTE accredited school of Occupational Therapy; Current State of Hawaii OT licensure; current NBCOT certification as an OTR; current BLS certification; completion of competencies and other job-related and REHAB requirements

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Day Shift, must be able to work weekends

Job Description:

• Interprets physician’s orders
• Perform evaluations and assessments
• Design and implements plan of care; maintains treatment and progress reports
• Draft and present oral or written reports of patient’s status
• Collaborates with team members toward reaching patient’s goals
• Ability to safely and effectively manage patients’ mobility
• Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Safely provide care to patients
