Commercial Kitchen Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial and industrial cooking, and food processing equipment, to support operations uptime and improve reliability of our clients’ systems.
You will…
Understand and complete daily processes and procedures, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA’s), etc.
Ask the 5 Why’s and perform Root Cause Analysis
Diagnose problems and explain to customers in clear, non-technical terms
Communicate any required repairs to customers using field estimator, escalate any major quotes, generate new maintenance agreements, and communicate other client needs to Sales Department
Order and collect parts using KMC PO system, once customer gives approval to conduct work
Communicate with and regularly support the Service Logistics Coordinator
Participate in weekly technician on-call rotation and follow on-call procedures
Meet requirements of company vehicle driving policy, and adhere to all company safety requirements
Identify and rectify for safety issues while working with KMC Safety Director to follow company safety protocol

You have…
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving history
No felony convictions
Clean background check and drug screen
Spanish language skills (preferred)
Ability to read, write, and understand English
4-6 years of experience with commercial/industrial cooking and processing equipment, including hot side/cold side, mechanical and electrical operations and/or small-system refrigeration repair and maintenance.
OSHA 10 or 30 certifications
First Aid / AED certification
Maintain all required certifications
